International Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo
Where Producers Meet Now in its 34th year, the FEW provides the ethanol industry with cutting-edge content and unparalleled networking opportunities in a dynamic business-to-business environment.

As the largest, longest running ethanol conference in the world, the FEW is renowned for its superb programming - powered by Ethanol Producer Magazine - that maintains a strong focus on commercial-scale ethanol production, new technology, and near-term research and development. The 2017 event drew more than 2,000 people from over 48 countries and from nearly every ethanol plant in the United States and Canada.

TRACK 1: Production and Operations

Track 1 is tailored to industry professionals focused on production efficiency, plant optimization, process control, advanced maintenance, compliance, quality control, safety and other areas of facility operations. This track will particularly appeal to ethanol plant managers, operations managers, process engineers, maintenance managers, lab managers, commodities managers, operators and other personnel seeking the latest production and operational solutions.

TRACK 2: Leadership and Financial Management

Track 2 is customized for ethanol industry executives, board members, directors and top-tier facility managers who have financial and/or managerial oversight of ethanol plants. From risk management and marketing to SEC reporting and accounting, this track is ideal for "C-level" executives, board members, investors, business managers, accountants, financial managers and other professionals engaged in plant/project finance and overall company management.

TRACK 3: Coproducts and Product Diversification

Track 3 is customized for attendees responsible for producing and/or marketing distillers grains, as well as plant executives exploring product diversification strategies like fractionation and corn oil extraction. From production technology to international trade, this track will include a cross-section of issues central to commodities managers, risk managers, distillers grains merchandisers, lab managers, researchers and animal nutritionists alike.

TRACK 4: Infrastructure and Market Development

Fully realized the Renewable Fuel Standard calls for the inclusion of 36 billion gallons of biofuels in the nation's transportation fuels market, more than double its current market share.
The growth of the industry hinges upon its ability to open market pathways and leverage them to win increased market share and move more gallons. Panels in this track will feature industry professionals at work on this important task and will feature presentations on the state of flex-fuel vehicles, mid-level blends and blender pumps and the practicality of E15 as a means to near-term market growth.
