Bukovina citizens converted to biofuel in 2015
People in Lenkovtsy town started using new type of biofuel.
The new 2015 year brought for Lenkovtsy Geriatric Home which is situated in Kelmentsi district (Bukovina) new technologies. Back to December 25 was the ceremonial start up of the biofuel boiler room. This boiler room is one of a kind within the district. It was built just within 26 days for 350 thousand hryvnias ($14 thousand) provided by the district government.
The boilers made by national manufacturers with the power capacity of 64 kW will be supplying the 650 square meters area of the local geriatric center in-patient department with energy.
The boiler room is fully automatic and safe for use. If the electricity is down the boilers will stop running. The biggest advantage of such boiler room is that it can be run in various type of fuel such as coal, wood and pellets. It is expected to reduce the center maintenance costs.
Note: Klementsi Geriatric Home was moved to Lenkovitsy town in 2010 and provides the medical care both for handicapped people of first and second categories and aged people.
