CEP® is transformed into CEB® - The innovative trade fair and conference for energy efficient buildings
The Stuttgart based trade fair and conference CEP® does have a new name in 2013 and will unveil a new trade fair concept: CEP® will become the CEB CLEAN ENERGY BUILDING, the innovative trade fair and conference for energy efficient buildings. The industry meeting point for energy efficient buildings, technical building systems and regenerative energy production has expanded its scope far beyond Baden-Wurttemberg over the last six years. The CEB® will take place from February 7th-9th, 2013 in the Messe Stuttgart.
Intelligent energy-efficient buildings will be key to the energy revolution and play a vital role in the future of city planning. New buildings are already beginning to use revolutionary concepts such as using the residual heat from computing centers in building heating, utilizing electric vehicles as energy storage and even producing enough energy from buildings to not only achieve energy independence, but also to supply other buildings with the excess energy. Trade fair organizers REECO GmbH have decided to change the CEP® into the CEB® CLEAN ENERGY BUILDING to live up to this vision of sustainable building technology. “With the name change, the trade fair will not only have a new appearance, but many of the topics will change as well. The subtitle 'Think Future' will be the guiding concept of the CEB program,†notes Sandra Bayer Teixeira, project manager of the CEB.
The CEB® will be carried by three key topics – energy efficient buildings with the key elements of passive houses, energy plus buildings and building envelopes; “technical building services†including ventilation and air-conditioning and “regenerative energy production†in buildings with the key themes of solar technology, cogeneration, wood energy and heat pumps.
The CEB® offers the newest information and knowledge presented by national and international experts at high-profile conferences on February 8th and 9th, 2013 as well as excellent opportunities for profitable networking. Vistors can gather the newest information on cutting edge products and services in the areas of energy efficient buildings, technical building systems and regenerative energy production. The trade fair and the accompanying program offer a platform for innovative topics such as energy storage technologies, illumination, green services, an innovation pavilion with an innovation market and special exhibits on key themes such as energy efficient buildings of the future or cogeneration.
