Pan Kurchak group started using straw as alternative fuel
According to the announcement made by Pan Kurchak agroindustrial group’s press office the total capacity of 'Agrotehnika' LLC elevator which was a part of the concern would be twice increased.
Such improvement was possible after elevator’s grain dryer was converted to alternative energy sources, specifically straw. After that grain conditioning costs reduced by three times. Daily volume of crop processed amounted to 400 tons of wheat, 400 tons of rapeseed, 350 tons of corn and 200 tons of soybeans.
In 2014 this complex based in Volyn region, stn Nesvich-Volynskyi performed drying of 75 tons of crops. The lowest amount planned for 2015 is 100 tons of crops.
