The management of the company Viridis Energy Inc. declared that the value of the contract for the exclusive distribution of pellets with trademark Douglas fir pellets will be estimated at 6 millions CAD.
According to one-year contract, the delivery volumes will amount to 10 thousands of tonnes of premium class pellets. The producer is the company VMI, which started its activity in 2013. Owing to the distribution of the output by the dealers and thanks to the distributing network ,the company received its share at the north-eastern market of the USA.
"Douglas fir pellets, these are the pellets of the highest quality representing from 15% to 20% of the premium sector. We consider that this contract will provide an opportunity to remedy the situation concerning the demand, which exceeds the supply, the situation, which we encountered last year", declared Christopher Robertson, the executive director of the company.
