Full Description: Forest Research Institute is one of the most prestigious research organizations in the field of Forestry and related sciences. MSc. Wood Science and Technology is a two-year course in which I have undergone Industrial Training for a month in Basant Handicrafts, Jodhpur. Also I have worked on the topic 'Preservation of different wood species by empty cell & half cell process' for my dissertation, which is for three months. Hence I am exposed to both the research and market perspective of the timber industry. I have a thorough know how of the wood industry as this course is one of its kind in Asia.
Qualifications: EDUCATIONAL PROFILE Post Graduation : MSc. Wood Science & Technology, Forest Research Institute, Dehradun 2006 – 2008 with major subjects as Wood Seasoning & Preservation, Adhesives, Plywood, Wood Composite, Wood Working & Finishing, Particle Board, Timber Engineering, Special Wood Utilisation and HRM (Percentage – 77 % Aggregate ) Under Graduation : BSc. Forestry, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka 2002 – 2006 Percentage – 88 % (Gold Medallist ) Higher Secondary : Passed out in the year 2000 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English and Hindi. Percentage – 76% DAV School, Dhanbaad Matriculation : Passed in the year 1998 with 81% from DAV School, Dhanbaad
