Turkmenistan International Oil & Gas Conference 2010

On behalf of the organising committee, Ministry of Oil & Gas Industry & Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan, State Agency for the Management and Use of Hydrocarbons and Summit Trade Events, it is our pleasure to welcome all potential participants of the 14th Turkmenistan International Oil & Gas Conference ““Strengthening international cooperation and encouraging investment in the development of Turkmenistan’s oil and gas industry”, OGT 2010. The annual Conference will be held in conjunction with the oil and gas exhibition in the Ashgabat Exhibition Palace “Sergi Kosgi”, Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on the 17-19 November 2010. 

Today the Government of Turkmenistan is paying great attention to the comprehensive renewal of the country’s oil & gas industry. Priorities for the development of the oil and gas industry are: the implementation of new exploration and production projects; the rapid industrial development of onshore and also offshore oil & gas resources located and in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea and its coastal zone; to increase efficiency in the development of existing fields; the development of refining infrastructure and capacity; the development of the chemical sector; the expansion of domestic and international transport infrastructure; the implementation of the advanced technologies and modern techniques; the training and education of Turkmen nationals.
