Twelve years ago a network of Sainsbury’s generated sales of ecologically clean fuel
The composition of fuel called GlobalDiesel contains petrol with a low percentage of sulphur content and exhaust rape oil.
The producers declare that the use of this biofuel enables to reduce the degree of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere by 5%. At the same time, any additional automobile re-equipment is not required for its application.
When creating this type of fuel, overriding aim of producers was not to get ecologically clean petrol but to reduce the toxicity of emissions. And the index of 5% constitutes a considerable step forward, besides, the price for GlobalDiesel does not differ from the price for a conventional type of petrol, and by now the transition to GlobalDiesel remains the question of consumer awareness.
Presently, developers of the product negotiate with the authorities counting on obtaining tax remissions, which will assist to make this type of fuel more competitive.
