France increased the concentration of biodiesel in fuel

A new index constitutes 8% and goes beyond the limit concerted by the members of the European Union by 1%.

In the last year energy ministers of the member states of the European Union came to a decision to reduce the production of biofuel from agricultural crops. The resolution was influenced by the conviction that the use of biodiesel leads to environmental deterioration and affects negatively the index of inflation.

It is worth mentioning that the French company Saipol is the world’s leading producer of biodiesel, meanwhile France is the second largest European producer of rape.
