The wood pellets usage for dwellings heating in Netherlands is quite rare, maybe due to the insufficient amount of subsidy programs and highly efficient natural gas boiler, and lack of space for wood pellets storage (standard Dutch house has no cellar). According to industry professional information mixed biomass pellets are not used for medium - small volume heating in Netherlands.
If the wood and MBP pellets will continue to grow, the Bees - B law will regulate emmissions as it regulates all emissions from small - scale industrial equipment, having thermal capacity lower than 20MW. And small residential wood boilers application is usually regulated by Netherlands Emission Guidelines for Air.
