Experts point out the existence of such phenomena as the global crisis. Alternative economy is gradually developing. Even in 2010 there was the increase in biosector rated by as much as 30%.
At that time the U.S. was on the third position in the world in terms of alternative investments in the economy. China was on the first position and the second position was related to Germany. The investments of China in the renewable economy amounted to 54.4 billion dollars, the share of Germany reached 41.2 billion dollars and the United States donated 39 billion dollars.
The European Union distributed an amount of 55.1 billion dollars to Germany and Italy. There was no indication as to Russian investments to a "green" sector in the annual report, since the sum of money was insignificant.
The most popular and promising sectors are solar and wind energy, at least, the total number of investments in these sectors is the highest.
Following the current trend of switching to alternative fuels, we can expect that investments in "green" energy will reach 2.3 trillion dollars by 2020.
