Offer Description - 200,000 tonnes per annum of Palm Oil Kernel

We can supply 200,000 tonnes per annum of Palm Oil Kernel.  This is the whole interior nut including the palm kernel oil.
This is the “American” palm nut: Elaeis oleifera, which has a very high oil yield.  Approximately one third of the total weight will be the palm kernel oil.
The shipments can start immediately and will build up to approximately 20,000 tonnes per month from a starting quantity of approximately 7,000 tonnes per month.
These kernels come from small scale farmer so the kernel oil is unsuitable for human consumption because of the risk of West African fungal infection.  However, the kernel with the oil retained has a very high calorific value.
We are looking to supply the kernels on a regular contractual basis to energy generators.
Our cost price delivered to any UK port is £85 per tonne.
The nuts will come in bulk shipments in “loose” form.
We can organise samples of the kernels for testing by suitable customers.
Once this supply is underway we will be able to add a further 200,000 tonnes per annum within approximately one year from now.
Palm kernel oil is edible oil derived from the kernel of the oil palm. It should not be confused with the edible oil extracted from the pulp of the oil palm fruit.
Palm kernel oil is a highly saturated vegetable fat which is semi-solid at room temperature, is more saturated than palm oil and comparable to coconut oil.  The shells and the oil will have a CV of approximately 20 mega Joules per KG.
