Offer Description - 453 companies and brands from 24 countries to meet at Expobioenergia 2011

28% of the firms are first-time exhibitors

AVEBIOM and the Cesefor Foundation are expecting to welcome 13,000 professional visitors to the event. The organisers have expressed their satisfaction at the 10% increase in exhibition space hired over the previous edition and the fact that 28% of those attending are first-time exhibitors. They predict an enthusiastic response to this latest edition by professionals in this sector.

There’s just a month to go before Expobioenergia 2011 gets underway yet the organisers are still being inundated with requests for information from potential exhibitors. The first credentials are also now being issued for professional visitors who, thanks to the online application form, are entitled to a 50% discount on admission to the event. In other words, the sector is revving up for the start of the biggest specialised bioenergy event of the year in Europe.

453 companies and brands from 24 countries have already officially registered as exhibitors. Spain tops the list of countries in terms of exhibitor numbers, followed by Italy, Germany and Austria. Interestingly, Italy has the largest number of companies promoting heaters and forestry machinery. The event will also be featuring a large number of pellet mills, biogas production projects and biofuel technology from Germany, which ranks second worldwide. Austria is the European leader in the use of biomass technology for heating, and ranks third on the list of foreign exhibitors at Expobioenergia.

In terms of the event’s international nature, also worthy of mention is the fact that Expobioenergia 2011 will be playing host to direct exhibitors from Honduras, Brazil and the USA. In addition, it will be welcoming companies from Slovenia and Holland, countries which will be represented by direct exhibitors for the first time ever. New brands from Albania and Portugal will also be present at the event.

The figures speak for themselves. Bioenergy is becoming an increasingly attractive option for professionals operating in various sectors. Furthermore, Expobioenergia, Europe’s biggest showcase for biomass technology, represents a unique business opportunity, something exhibitors are well aware of. Indeed, many take advantage of this leading trade fair to present their latest technological innovations. Proof lies in the Technical Presentations space set up by the organisers for participants, and which is already fully booked. Others opt to enter their new projects and ideas in the Expobioenergia Awards which this year already have 10 candidates.

Professionals interested in attending the event can pre-register via the Online Accreditation . They can also consult the List of exhibitors at www.expobioenergia.com , enabling them prepare their visit to this technology trade fair beforehand.

Expobioenergia will take place between 18 and 20 October 2011 in Valladolid. Organised by AVEBIOM and the Cesefor Foundation, and sponsored by the Junta de Castilla y Leon and Gestamp Biomass, with the collaboration of the IDEA (the Institute for Energy Diversification and Savings), this event offers attractive business opportunities for professionals and entrepreneurs in one of the few sectors that is currently enjoying rapid and on-going growth.
