Overview of KAHL Wood Pelleting Plants

KAHL pelleting plants have been applied to compact organic products of different particle sizes, moisture contents, and bulk densities into constantly uniform and optimally compacted pellets

The product is pressed through a die by pan grinder rollers, formed into endless strands, and then cut to the desired particle length by means of knives

Input products can be dry wood shavings, wet sawdust, wood chips or even whole tree trunks

Other qualities of KAHL pelleting presses include:
- Pan grinder head with guide plates for exact product distribution;
- Large pelleting chamber to avoid blockings;
- Roller speed of 2.5 m/s to achieve an optimum deaeration of the product;
