ENERGETAB 2013

The Jubilee 25th edition of the power industry trade fair ENERGETAB 2012 was once again a record.

Completed on 14 September, the Jubilee edition of the ENERGETAB 2012 fair gathered a record number of 720 exhibitors, while the exhibit area exceeded 30 000 sqm. There was also very high interest in the fair among visitors, who in great numbers came to the fair.

The fair was accompanied by conferences and seminars and several less formal but also very important meetings of exhibitors with their clients who are responsible for big investment and modernization projects developed in power industry in Poland.

The topics of the conference included the development of electric power transmission and distribution networks and an organizational and legal obstacles, as well as issues related to the latest methods of network exploitation.

Moreover a conference concerning nuclear power and its future prospects in Poland proved to be popular among the visitors.

The range of devices and apparatus presented at the fair was very wide, ranging from transformer substations, switchboards, HV circuit breakers and isolating switches to monitoring, measurement, protection and supervisory systems, cables and connectors, poles, masts and supporting constructions, light fittings (especially for LED) specialized vehicles to specialized services for power industry.

69 innovative products were submitted to the competition for the most remarkable product exhibited at the Energetab 2012. BELOS-PLP Company won the Cup of Minister of Economy, the most prestige award of the competition.

ENERGETAB 2012 Fair was held under the honorary auspices of :
• the Ministry of Economy
• the President of the Association of Polish Electrical Engineers
• the Mayor of Bielsko–Biała City
and the main chambers and associations of the energy sector.

TAURON Polska Energia Group, the largest electricity (distributor) in the country and the second largest electricity producer in Poland, was the General Partner of the ENERGETAB 2012 Fair.
