Sign up for our free webinar on factoring sustainable agriculture into the food vs. fuel debate which takes place on 24 January 2013.

Food and fuel are both necessities that are in huge demand by our growing population. The use of clean fuel to mitigate against climate change and environmental degradation is also imperative. A polarised argument over the right use of agricultural production is no longer useful as it is obvious that agricultural commodities will continue to be used by both the food and fuel markets.

Rather than deliberating over the correct use of agricultural commodities, delivering sustainability and efficiency through smart farming practices can all but alleviate rising tensions in the sector.

Discussing new technologies, alternative practices and enhanced applications, Tony Juniper former Executive Director at Friends of the Earth and William Martin Manager of Agricultural Research at the World Bank will breach this argument by providing solutions that will effectively drive sustainability in the agricultural sector.
