High quality wood pellets for export

We are is a new company founded to produce high quality wood pellets for export. We are based in SC and will be using the Georgetown, SC port as our export facility. The owner and founder of the company is a third-generation logger and sawmill owner. In fact, the entire mill could be supplied in full from his logging operations if needed. The mill site is in Alcolu, SC, which is 60 miles from Georgetown. Construction will begin in August and conclude in January, 2011. I realize this is an aggressive timeline, but we have a special relationship with the equipment supplier, who will also be constructing the mill. The fiber base in Alcolu is perfect for a pellet mill. There are no competing mills within 40 miles. The area is one of the richest wood baskets in the state. Financing for the mill has been secured. The mill site has been obtained. The port facility in Georgetown, which is on the water, is ready. The only thing we lack is a solid market for our product. We have a few offers in hand, but would like to pursue every avenue available. We are looking to contract between 60,000-90,000 tons annually. I realize there are tons of people out there with start-up mills, but we are legit and ready to move forward. Regards, Ted McNair
