The next NWBC − the leading event where research and industry meet to discuss recent wood-based biorefinery developments − is scheduled for March 22-24, 2011.
The 3rd Nordic Wood Biorefinery Conference will present the latest ideas and developments in biorefinery separation and conversion processes as well as new biobased products from the wood biorefinery: energy, chemicals and materials. NWBC will gather expert speakers from the chemical, energy, pulp and paper industry as well as recognized representatives from the global research community.
Optional site visits will be organized on March 21, 2011 to several biorefinery demonstration/industrial plants. The evening program will include a buffet reception at the beautiful City Hall of Stockholm (where the Nobel Prize Dinner is held) and a dinner evening. The last day of NWBC 2011 will be co-organised with ILI, running March 24-25, 2011 at the same location.
The venue is Stockolms largest and newest conference facility and full-service hotel, situated in the very heart of Stockholm, close to the Central Station and the Arlanda Express Airport Train.
NWBC is arranged as a cooperation between Innventia, Sweden and VTT, Finland. Processum and Solander Science Park are also co-organizing the event 2011.
