The marketing department of Global biofuel portal analyzed the state of Global wood pellets market for the period between the 2nd half of 2011 and the 1st quarter of 2012. On the basis of sales offers from wood pellets producers and suppliers, as well as bidding results of the Global biofuel exchange there was created a database of producers and suppliers, which successfully complements all previous releases. This informational resource shows the state of Global wood pellets market within the mentioned period.
The analysis of the database, which includes information about producers and wholesale pellet suppliers, allows to determine the average products price offered by the producers, and additionally estimate the production capacity and delivery terms.
On the basis of producers’ offers for the period between the 2nd half of 2011 - the 1st quarter of 2012, it was concluded that most companies, which produce wood pellets in Ukraine, are located in Donetsk, Kiev, Zhitomir, Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Poltava, Sumy, Teropol, Khmelnitsk, Cherkassy and Chernigov regions.
