SALON BOIS ENERGIE 2013

The Salon Bois Energie is a unique Exhibition in France dedicated to the entire wood energy chain. It is the benchmark event for wood energy.

Being staged in 2013 in Nantes, the European Green Capital and already welcoming 20 countries through its doors, the salon Bois Energie 2013 is the international show place and meeting point for the French market.

This distinctive event is reputed for bringing wood energy to life - indoor operational stoves and fireplaces, outdoor wood fuel machinery demonstrations, exhibitors from all across Europe, conferences, and innovation awards. Parallel events include a Study Tour and Conference programme for professionals as well as Conferences for the General Public on the weekend.

A large number of Innovations are introduced onto the market at the Salon Bois Energie, providing key insights into future trends for wood energy… and the Innovation Competition held during the event recognises and rewards the most significant of these product and service breakthroughs.

Key numbers anticipated for 2013 :

- more than 350 exhibitors and represented companies from 20 countries

- more than 20 000 visiteurs : professionals (Wednesday - Friday) and General Public on the weekend

- more than 700 wood heating appliances and 350 wood fuel producing machines on show

- from 21 to 24 March for other sectors (domestic heating, forestry, wood fuels, etc.

The Salon Bois Energie and Biogaz Europe, where two worlds meet !

For the first time, the Salon Bois Energie and Biogaz Europe will run in parallel in Nantes. The converging worlds of forestry and agriculture will come together to explore and further develop their common interests in energy provision in a European context that calls for ever more efficient and integrated solutions. 500 exhibitors and represented companies from across Europe are expected in total. The event will also offer an international Conference and Study Tours to a mix of wood energy and biogas facilities.
