Selling firewood, robinia logs, roadside pick up, February, March 2023

We are selling firewood and we have a plantation of Robinia trees near Brandenburg in Germany. They are currently destined to be processed to make pointed poles for the agricultural market. The estimated volume of timber to be processed is 70 to 80 cubic meters, the majority of the timber is between 10 and 15 cm diameter. There would be additional timber not suitable for pole processing, but this can not be qauntfied until after harvest. The trees are scheduled to be harvested and delivered to roadside during February 2023. If the profit from selling for biomass is comparable to processing for poles we would consider selling all our trees for biomass.
