In 2020, China newly installed 5.43 million kilowatt of biomass capacity, an increase of 22.6%, taking the accumulated total to 29.52 million kilowatt. The country’s full-year biomass generation saw a 19.4% positive growth to 132.6 billion kWh, according to Biomass Industry Branch of China Association for the Promotion of Industrial Development.
