Bioenergy in Ukraine
To the notion BIOMASS referred coaly organic substances of phytogenic and animal origin (wood, straw, plant remains of agriculture, organic part of hard domestic waste, etc.). As already as 1995 in the countries of EU for the part of biomass it accounted more than 60% used energy resources received from renewable sources (which comprised 6% from total usage of initial renewable sources). In some states the share of biomass in the total consumption of the initial energy resources greatly exceeds medium European characteristics; in the USA â€" 3,2%, in Denmark â€" 8%, in Austria â€" 12%, in Sweden â€" 18%, in Finland â€" 23%. And according to the development programme of Renewable Energy Sources in the countries of EU to 2010 the biomass share in the total contribution in Renewable Energy Sources will be 74% that is equal 9% of the total consumption of initial energy sources.
