Kharkiv "Electrotyazhmash" will start Donbass recovery in 2015
"Electrotyazhmash" plant started the reconstruction of the power stations damaged during ATO shooting.
Dmitryi Kostiuk a first deputy of the plant informed they started conversations with “Donbassenergo” company. The expected results will be the installing the new generator units instead the old ones. The work is planned to start at the Sloviansk power station where two new turbine-generator sets with total capacity of 33MW produced in Kharkiv will be delivered. The deadline for units installations is March 2018.
Mr Kostiuk remarked as well that all the generator units installed in Ukrainian atomic power stations were produced by “Elektosila” plant back in 60-70s. Now they are worked out and their working service is over. At the end of August the plant led the conversations with “Energoatom” company due to find out the possible participation Kharkiv companies in national power stations’ units improvement. This project will also assist in enterprise repairing a loss process caused by partially closed Russian market as a main foreign consumer.
