The unique biological station is to be built in Germany
German scientists have developed a new method of processing wastes to produce biofuel. The raw material for recycling of wastes will be a wholesale vegetable market in Stuttgart. The processing will be made by microorganisms.
The specialists say, this type of wastes allows to obtain methane because wastes contain small amounts of cellulose, lignin and much water.
Raw materials will be placed in special containers in which the acid balance and the necessary conditions for the occurrence of the fermentation process will permit to "get" biofuels. The automated system will prompt technologists which wastes and in what proportions to mix.
The uniqueness of this processing station is that not only methane but also all other byproducts of processing can be beneficial.
