This plant’s start up allows solar panels’ production with extremely low price. It would make Indian manufacturers competitive at the renewable energy market without any donations, relieves and concessions from the government. By the way, now one kilowatt of solar energy costs twice expensive than one kilowatt of energy produced at coal power stations.

It will also increase Indian electrification level as today only 70 per cent of citizens have an access to electric power and those who connected to government power networks suffer from constant emergency shutdowns.

Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India supported this project and informed about the necessity of focusing the alternative energy sources and decreasing the energy dependence from fossil fuels.
