This year Mykolaiv plant of alternative fuel production begins its shipment in Italy.
The enterprise which belongs to the British group of companies Active Energy Group, concluded an agreement on the delivery of the domestic wood chips to Italy. The customer is the company Biomass Italia, the major European alternative energy producer.
Under the terms of a two-year contract, the delivery volume will amount to 240000 thousands of tonnes of the output annually. The volume of the first delivery, made in January of the current year amounted to 150000 thousands of tonnes. The shipment had been arranged in one of the Ukrainian Black Sea ports.
The details of the contract are not disclosed, but it is essential to expect that the delivered wood chips will be destined for the customers to one of the updated electric power stations situated in the south of Italy. The estimated capacity of the facilities will constitute 5 – GW/h, and the volumes of the consumption – 700000 tonnes of wood chips daily.
It is not the first contract for the Ukrainian plant Active Energy Group. Its output is well known at the Turkish, the Italian and the Polish markets of energy production.
