The boiler house at school will run on peat pellets and briquettes, this will allow to give up gas and save the budgetary funds while school premises will be fully provided with warmth.

The program "Alternative Energy" has started working in the frame of 50 projects of Kyiv regional state administration chairman Anatoliy Prisiazhniuk. It must minimize the costs at lots of budgetary institutions and introduce energy-saving technologies.

As Anatoliy Prisiazhniuk stressed, today the authorities really concern about the problems of heating and water supply in the region, as well as in the social institutions. He said, that these days they are doing their best to minimize the fuel consumption. By using alternative solid biofuels, the authorities actually reduce budget costs by half. This is a good example of solving problem issues by attracting investment funds. In addition, it is also the opportunity to develop the fields of peat extraction, located in Kiev region. Practice and interest in such projects are actively demonstrated by our neighbors in Poland and Hungary.

They applied everywhere, yet received just promises and projects. Today a real warmth came to school, and this is so important both for pupils’ and teachers’ comfort.
