Bioenergy crops and sugar beet researchers from NAAS of Ukraine develop the new methods of biogas production.
Institute management announced the researches had already developed the certain concept for biogas production from energy agricultural crops. This concept is based on the world researches experience including experience taken from German where the number of biogas units exceeded 8000.
Biogas units’ advantage is that produced gas can be used both for the local buildings heating and energy generating and for the gas transmission network after the additional purification and enrichment.
The raw materials for this future production will be the public utilities’ wastes such as animal wastes, forestry-based wastes, crop, doura, feeding and sugar beet.
According to the researchers calculations the biogas production in Ukraine will increase the country energy power safety and prevent the conversion the power-generated capacity to another energy sources. Also this project implementation will provide work places the village and small towns’ citizens as the unemployment level is very high in this region.
