Mondelēz Ukraine put into operation a biogas utilization system

According to the press release of the company, biogas produced in the process of water purification using membrane bioreactor is subject to utilization. The energy generated in the course of combustion is equivalent to 24 cubic meters of natural gas per hour and 160 kWh of electric consumption. Planned cost savings of energy efficiency will be estimated to 800 thousand UAH per year and the emission temperature will decrease to 35% - 40%.

The total investment amount in energy saving projects of “Luxe Chips” enterprise will stand at over 10 million UAH in 2015. In this connection, the production of the company will become more efficient and injurious environmental effects will be reduced.
