Mustus Energy brought to life a 5-year plan for the construction of biofuel plant. New station will operate at 41.5 megawatt of power.
The project took a significant amount of time, but project organizers are happy with the result. They were able to attract the attention of prospective investors and to get a grant from the Canadian government for the building works ($ 165 million).
In addition, the plant will run on the newest equipment known manufacturers. The raw material will be delivered from local wooden industries and sawdust from the nearby areas.
The company representative said that the capacity for the power plant was selected based on the optimal ratio of cost of raw materials, processing and delivery.
Therefore, initially planned 31 megawatt capacity was increased to 41.5. The construction of a large-scale biofuel plant will provide the Canadian population with needed power and more people will be employed.
