In the village of Maryevka in Zaporizhia region the first boiler-room using pellets as fuel was activated. Its capacity constitutes 150 KW.
This project was carried out owing to the means of regional budget and to the
objective subventions, allocated by State budget for the transition of boiler-rooms to alternative types of fuel. An overall sum of investments constituted 1 million 127 thousands of hryvnias.
It is worth mentioning that during the construction of the boiler-room the home-produced equipment was used exclusively.
According to Michail Fedchuk, the head of the village council, a new boiler-room will initially heat the village council, the cultural center and the library. In the near future the village dispensary will be linked up.
Henceforward it is planned to construct a boiler-room which will heat the school and the kindergarten, and also to set up a workshop of pellets production.
Aleksey Chuhray, the deputy of Zaporizhia Regional Council who took part in setting up a boiler-room, declared that the authorities of the region together with the deputy corps will support the implantation of the like projects in the future.
