The World Bank will support Ukrainian energy power reorganization in 2015
In 2015 the international financial organizations will provide Ukraine with regular support.
As Mr. Qimiao Fan, a country director of the World Bank for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine announced the board of directors support the decision to provide Ukraine with a new credit aid in amount of $378,4 ml. Ukraine will receive these funds during this year and put them into the alternative and renewable power energy development within the country. The Ukrainian government is also planning to support the energy power wholesale market and to improve the power transmission lines in order to increase their performance reliability.
The part of these funds will cover either control process of the grid commonality between Ukraine and EU or alternative energy power development and implementation. The World Bank Administration considers these actions to be another step forward to increase the energy safety level both Ukraine and Euro Union. It is worth to mention that these actions might also lead to earlier announced plan to place the alternative energy power objects in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone.
