Wood pellet hoppers from Tank Depot

The company TankDepot.co.uk which is well known as the supplier of fuel tanks, entered the market with its new range of the hoppers predestinated for storing biomass pellets in dwelling houses.

The new pellet hoppers produced by Sturdy Products Limited in Ireland appeared on the market as the response to the growing need in cost effective, durable and weatherproof devices for storing wood pellets.

Steve Beech, Tank Depot representative, informs that the capacity of these hoppers may be 1 or 3 tones. Although they are constructed for storing wood pellets they could also be used for storing feed pellets for animals. Both models may be applied with vacuum, auger and also manual extraction systems.

The model with 1 tone capacity features a slimline compact design, it is the best for the wood pellet and biomass equipment of a small size. The clever construction allows to carry such hopper through the usual domestic doorway as the tank may be easily removed from its base and then joined again during installation.

Due to its weatherproof construction and the possibility to be used outdoor, the hopper’s tank is really reliable for protecting wood and feed pellets despite of whatever excesses of the British weather. The tank for storage may be filled both manually or by a special delivery truck. Moreover, the dust filter may be added if necessary. Thanks for a considered system both manual and mechanical tank filling will be safe and comvenient.

If more space is required for storing pellets, the tank may be remodeled by joining its blocks. These units are set in a raw side by side for enabling an auger to move allong all the extraction area. The interior rubber baffle protects pellets from any damages during a filling process, at the same time a mushroom vent on the cover prevents a moisture accumulation by letting a warm air out and keeping the stored material dry.
