Объявление - World production of oil crops decreases

World production of oil crops in years 2012/2013 is forecasted to be 465,7 mln tones, it is 5,1 mln tones less compared to the previous estimation.

Such decrease of estimation for soya, cotton and sunflower will hardly be compensated by estimation increase for peanut and rape.

The forecast of world production is 267,2 mln tones, that is 3,9 mln tones less compared to the estimation in June. It’s mainly caused by reduction of production in the USA, which is partially compensated by higher forecasts for Canada.

Moreover, the estimation of Canadian rape production is raised because sown area is increased.
Due to a bad state of sunflower crops in Russia, their production forecast is decreased till 7 mln tones. In addition rape production forecast is also decreased.
World reserves of oil crops in years 2012/2013 are estimated on the level of 63,1 mln tones. That is 2,7 mln tones less compared to June.

Moreover, the following changes in forecasts of world oil crop trade are made:

Due to a low level of supply, the estimation of soya export from the USA is decreased by 3,1 mln tones;

Due to a big demand in the USA and weak competition on the part of the states, the forecast of export from the South America is raised by 1,9 mln tones (till 46,2 mln tones);

The expectations of soya export from Canada are raised by 0,3 mln tones (till 3 mln tones);

Due to introduction of government restriction, the estimation of soya import to Iran became almost 3 times less (0,262 mln tones).
