European buyers of wood briquette database 2013

Despite a certain decline, the demand for wood briquettes both on Ukrainian domestic market and the European market of biofuels was still quite high in 2013. The situation is explained by the rapid development of bioenergy that makes the demand for biofuels remain higher than the supply.

Having studied the Ukrainian solid biofuel export statistics, the experts of Ukrainian Biofuel Portal pellets-wood.com have prepared the database of European wood briquettes importers and their rating. The basis for the rating was the production (wood briquettes) volumes imported.

The database contains the information about the buyers of Ukrainian wood briquettes: company name, company location (country, region, city), company address, phone numbers, fax, company representative, e-mails and websites. The General volumes of the imported wood briquettes for 2013 are also given.

The database provides the information regarding the wood bricks purchasers from 17 countries including 117 enterprises from Germany, 55  from Poland, 38 from the Czech Republic, 19 from Denmark, 13 from Slovakia, 12 from Hungary , 8 from Belgium as well as the enterprises  from Austria, Estonia, France, Greece, Holland, Italy, Latvia, Libya, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and the US.

The Import statistics presented in the database indicates the countries with the biggest number of current and prospective importers of wood briquettes produced in Ukraine. The reasons for this are their geographic proximity to Ukraine, well-developed traffic networks between the countries and the high demand for biofuel on the markets.
