Если у Вас возникли вопросы по Belarus wants to use Chernobyl fields to grow rape, отправьте сообщение!
Ukrainian scientists have recently talked about the possibility of using the Chernobyl lands to grow energy crops.
Today the idea was picked up by the representatives of Belarus. They estimate that the significant part of the territories of the former Chernobyl nuclear power station is not used. They can benefit from it by cultivating the rape.
Thus, the country will be provided with power and the remaining biofuel will be rendered for export. This idea is supported by the representatives of various international organizations, including the UN.
The experts estimate that in case the project is implemented by the summer of 2012, Belarus will be fully secured with biofuel. Final solution will be known this spring. The EU has obliged all its countries to increase the consumption of alternative energy to 20% in 2020. Obviously, the intention of Belarus will come true.
