Tendencies on the biofuel market

Developed countries experience the consequences of using biofuels and alternative energy sources. As usual, it is the most essential for ordinary consumers.

Enthusiastic mass processing of crops for fuel leads to a rapid rise in prices on agricultural products. Developed countries are selling "green" fuel sources to developing countries where biofuel is the main source of energy, for instance, in China.

However, some experts suggest that the countries do not assign that much of crops for burning. Prices already hit the roof. For example, the Food and Agriculture Organization reported that the price index for food products reached its highest level in the last 20 years.
Political instability in some countries (Egypt, Bangladesh, Algeria) where biofuels are the principal energy sources, also led to the increase in price.

The European Union plans to transfer 10% of transport fuel oil on reprocessing by 2020. Many countries implement the programs on the use of renewable sources.

UN experts and the World Bank talk of a more rational distribution of agricultural products to processing and food purposes, so that everything works in balance.
