Administration of the Bee’ah company involved into waste treatment announced their intentions to build a new solar power station.
Within a concession agreement it was announced about an initial search for a future partner with ability to develop, construct and start up a new complex in the Emirate of Sharjah where the Bee’ah company performed its activities.
In such a way, an Arabian company dealing with wastes recycling plants to tap the alternative energy market and share its influence to the other parts of UAE. A solar power station will become a company’s portfolio to represent their achievements within the renewable energy sources projects. Produced energy will be used for company’s industrial objects power supply. This complex will not be connected to the common system of power supply. It is supposed to use batteries for continuous supply even at night. Nadjib Faris managing director of development and public relationships at Bee’ah informed that though contaminated land sites are not good for business the company consider a possibility to construct a solar power station at Sharjah landfill sites as a part of large energy mission in Future
