Enel Green Power started up two new solar power stations and gave the third one its designed capacity.
The аmount of investment in the power stations construction in the Atacama and Antofagasta region was $240 mln. The total project capacity is about 136MW with annual power production of 250 GW/h. These new stations will supply 140 000 households with energy and allow reducing carbon emissions by 160 000 tons. The Diego de Almagro station working at its designed capacity will provide energy to 45 000 households. $60 mln were invested in its construction before.
