Ismail sunflower processor reopened

Oil Extraction Plant "Bessarabia B" partially offset the value of added tax.

 Alexander Gorbach, the director of the plant, said that received amount composes two-thirds of the total state debt. The remaining amount must be paid within a month.

Received funds will allow the management of the company to pay loans and continue modernization of the plant. An increasing of the sunflower seeds processing volume up to 1,000 tons per day is in the nearest plans.

Today, the company is able to process about 600 tons of sunflowers daily, and its annual handling capacity of more than quarter of a million tons. Simultaneously, the plant can produce a hundred thousand tons of sunflower oil.

Ismail oil extraction plant began operation in 2005 and gained a strong position on the markets of such countries as Turkey, Georgia, Spain and Italy. The product range includes sunflower and rapeseed oil, sunflower meal and sunflower husk pellets.
