January 30 the official event dedicated to the completion of the sunflower processing plant "Delta Wilmar CIS" Ltd. took place in the Odessa region, Kominternovsky district.
Now 1,200 tons of sunflower seeds can be processed at the plant per day.
The plant is operating according to the most contemporary technologies, and all the equipment established at the plant reduces harmful emissions to waste water and the environment. Also the plant is equipped with the modern laboratory, which allows controlling the quality of sunflower oil, sunflowers and sunflower meals at every stage of the production. In order to energy efficiency, sunflower husk boiler room is established at the plant, which allows using production waste products as fuel.
