The yield of sunflower in Kiev region prevails over the last year yield

According to the inquiry conducted among the Ukrainian agro producers, the yield of sunflower in Kiev region prevails over the yield of the previous year.

Thus at present, the oil crops capacity in the region mainly constitutes 22-25 c/ha, this indicator is approximately 10-15% more than the one in 2011. Moreover, there is sometimes the info regarding sunflower yield of over 27 c/ha. In agrarians’ opinion, optimal weather conditions, which took place on the region territory during seeding and ripening time favored a great oil crops capacity.

It should be mentioned, that according to the data from the Ministry of agriculture, for the 27^th of September 67,3 thousand ha of sunflower sown area are thrashed, it constitutes 77% of the previous forecast.
