Ukrtransgaz and Gas-system supply more gas to Ukraine through Poland

From the 1st of April 2013 the supply of liquid gas by German trader RWE to Ukraine through Poland increased by 2.5 times and reached 5 million cubic meters. This information was provided by the members of press-service of "Ukrtransgas" company.

According to the official data, the number of additional agreements to the operating contract for delivery of gas through the pipeline DU 500 on the territory of Ukraine were signed between organizations "Ukrtransgaz" and "Gas-system". For your reference, from the 1^st of January to the 17^th of March (this year) the volume of natural gas to the Ukrainian gas transportation system was about 2 million cubic meters per day.

It should be mentioned that the head of "Gazprom" Alexei Miller had concerns about allegations of Ukraine regarding the supply of European gas to Ukrainian territory. According to Mr. Miller’s words, Russian gas is also expected to be involved in these deliveries. He also expressed his doubt that Ukrainian state will purchase natural gas on the European spot trading platforms.
